NEWS:
// MAY 14, 2009
// I have been working with Red Canoe Brands on some product design and a brand new website, which will hopefully be launching shortly. I'm also wrapping up the design for The 2009 Toronto Fringe Festival, so I should have some new posts to share soon! One final award has been given to the 2008 Soulpepper season -- a Bronze Cube from The Art Directors Club in NYC. Although I missed the gala, I will be enjoying one expensive paper weight.
// DECEMBER 1, 2008
// As if they haven't won enough, I just found out Edel and I received silver medals from the Society of Illustrators for the 2008 Soulpepper As You Like It poster. The last time I won a medal was in grade 7 for the regional spelling bee (I ended up getting stumped on "phlegm"), so you can imagine my excitement!
/ I'm close to finishing some more major projects, so keep your eyes open for more updates in the near future. Also, December 5/6 is Dutch Christmas, so go treat yourself with some salty liquorice, speculaas and stroopwafles.
// OCTOBER 22, 2008
// It's been crazy around here for the last month!!! I have officially started Sandwich fulltime, thanks to some amazing contracts, and I will happily still be art directing the Soulpepper 2010 season (with more to come, hopefully).
/ In other news, the illustrations for the 2009 Soulpepper season are finally finished, and if they were a person, they would be one desirable person. The wonderfully talented Sam Weber has posted images on his site, so check them out -- I will of course have images of the posters up once they are finished.
// AUGUST 29, 2008
// Edel's show went went, here's a great article from Eye Weekly. In other Soulpepper news, the 2009 season is coming along beautifully with another amazing illustrator, more on that soon.
// JULY 23, 2008
// The Soulpepper 2008 Season posters have received several awards, which is superfantastic.

/ Congratulations to Edel for his amazing work, and be sure to check out his blog, where you can find more in-depth explanations of the process of creating these beauties.
/ There will also be a show August 16th at Lonsdale Gallery on Spadina, with a chance to purchase original sketches and artwork. Edel will be in attendance! BOOYA!
